Neutralising Antibodies Rapid Test
At DAM Health we are very pleased to introduce a new revolutionary Point Of Care SARS CoV-2 Neutralising Antibody Test. The levels of immunity following actual infection or a vaccine for Covid-19 are a topic of conversation that is ever evolving. So far however, there are no clear indicators or general recommendations on what is needed to protect you from catching or becoming ill from Covid-19 if you have had Covid-19 previously or have had the recommended number of vaccines and booster.
However, the level of SARS CoV-2 antibodies in your blood shows whether there is still protection against the virus.
A quantitative detection is therefore required to determine whether there are sufficient or too few antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the body. A conventional antibody test is not sophisticated enough to provide detailed information about the actual level of antibodies present. Most antibody tests focus only on whether SarsCoV-2 antibodies are present in the blood or not, but not the actual quantity of these antibodies.
This is an in-clinic test that is carried out by one of our trained clinicians. Please choose your appointment at the clinic that is most suitable.
You will receive a test result within 60 minutes on the day of testing.
Nuestras pruebas no serán aceptadas para viajar a Hong Kong.
What is the Neutralising Antibodies Rapid test?
The Neutralising Antibody Titration test provides you with a quantitative (numerical) result stating the level of antibodies present in your blood according to the WHO gold standard. Our rapid Antibody Test allows reliable accurate analysis of these neutralising antibodies against the SARS CoV-2 virus.
Using the control serum provided by the World Health Organisation (WHO), the test has been calibrated to provide a quantitative result in BAU/ml (BAU = Binding antibody units). For more information, please click here.
This allows for a reliable and accurate assessment of the immunological status of the person being tested. With our technology, the test can be done via capillary blood collection (finger prick) and the result is available in 60 minutes.
